Laboring for the Church. Laboring for God's glory.
We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ. To this end I labor, struggling with all his energy, which so powerfully works in me.

Resolutions
Happy New Year!
Well, Happy February at the very least. Yes, I'm sure you're thinking, "How can she see through all those cobwebs on her blog to even type a new post??" Sorry for the pro-longed absence. I've missed writing you you. I hope you have missed me as well. I wanted to post my latest newsletter on here for those of you whose email or home address still escapes my little, grubby hands. ;)
This will catch you up from last year til now, and hopefully I will do a better job at blogging this year. But I'm making no commitments, aloud. After all, if I fail, why should I fail publicly? ;) So, in accordance with my generation, I shall make no commitment at all(chuckle, chuckle). Take that!
Enjoy reading... as I make an honest attempt to enjoy blogging.
Take care!

I brought in the New Year with some old WDA students and the Satterfield’s in Athens—it was very special to worship and catch up—the highlight of my winter break! My sister got married to the most hilarious and loving man and my brother had his third baby! I turned 26 and I started my second semester at a very snowy Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.
February
I joined a new church! Lawndale Community Church is on the Westside of Chicago, located in an underprivileged, African American and Latino neighborhood. Being there has been a fun adjustment and has provided some unique learning opportunities.
I have been helping the church’s Singles’ leaders think strategically about discipleship. In the spring of ’09, the Singles class studied WDA’s Knowing God series and are currently reading through Colossians. The singles who attend LCC are from all walks of life and very hungry to grow. Praise God!
